Live todayCFO — built for the operator side of the table

A CFO in the room.
Without the retainer.

Fractional CFO retainers are priced for companies much larger than most of the businesses that need one. CFO is our answer: a finance agent that holds your cash position, forecast, covenants, and financing prep.

Built and ready. Setup, data access, and deployment requirements depend on your organization. For the operator workflow, see /operators.

Shipping today: the CSG-1003 standard, the REST and MCP surfaces, and the Recurser CLI — see what is actually available.

CFO · sample response shape
Cash on hand · reserve floor · trailing net burn
Base-case runway, conservative runway, and the first week the forecast crosses your floor — each figure linked to the transactions behind it.
Then: a recommendation with its reasoning attached, and an offer to assemble a certified CSG-1003 application from the books it already reads.
Illustrative conversation, not live customer data or lender quotes.
The work CFO handles

Most operators need a CFO long before they can afford one.

Cash flow is the constraint that decides whether a small business survives a slow quarter — and it is the one question no dashboard answers on its own. These are the questions we hear, and how the CFO agent helps with each of them.

What's my actual cash position today?

Cash position

Bank balance is not cash position. AR, AP, payroll, and taxes live in other systems.

CFO: Reconcile the accounts you connect into a single position with obligations subtracted, refreshed daily.

How long is my runway?

Forecasting

Most operators know the balance, not the date the balance runs out.

CFO: Project 13 weeks ahead with scenarios (conservative / base / aggressive) and flag any week below your reserve floor.

Am I about to trip a covenant?

Covenant watch

Lenders rarely raise it before the breach. By then the conversation is a workout.

CFO: Track the thresholds in your agreements — DSCR, current ratio, leverage — and warn ahead of a likely trip.

Can I afford this hire?

Decision support

Margin math plus ramp time plus payroll burden, modeled while you run operations.

CFO: Run the hire against contribution margin, ramp curve, and 12-month cash impact, with the math attached.

When should I raise capital?

Financing prep

Financing costs more when you need it than when you merely want it.

CFO: Watch the trajectory, surface the inflection early, and assemble the CSG-1003 application before you need it.

What's normal for a business like mine?

Benchmarks

Vertical benchmarks are buried in trade reports, paywalled, or badly out of date.

CFO: Answer vertical questions against operator knowledge authored for your industry rather than generic finance advice.

Your finance specialist

An agent whose interests sit on the borrower's side.

Most of the fleet serves brokers and lenders — Intake, Processor, Underwriter, Analyst, Monitorer, Complier. CFO works for the business asking for capital instead of the institution deciding whether to give it.

Clear approval boundaries keep you in control of consequential decisions.

  • Reads and advises. It drafts; you decide. Nothing is filed without approval.
  • Every recommendation cites its source — a transaction, a ledger entry, a covenant clause.
  • Audit-logged on the same core service that logs every other agent action.
  • Speaks CSG-1003, so a financing conversation becomes a certified application without re-keying anything.

Where the CFO agent actually stands

Implementation
Built and ready for financial operations, forecasting, and financing preparation.
Deployment
Review the published runtime version and deployment requirements in the portal. Agent readiness is separate from runtime availability.
Data connections
A CFO agent needs bank and accounting data to be useful, and most of those connectors are still planned.
Configuration
Set your reporting cadence, approval boundaries, and finance priorities with our team.

Connector-by-connector status lives on /integrations.

CFO capabilities

The finance work your agent helps you handle.

Financing prep

Live today

Clean books, defensible projections, a use-of-funds narrative, and pre-collected stipulations, assembled into a certified CSG-1003 package before you need capital.

Financing prep is the closest to what the platform already does: CSG-1003 certification and document packaging are built. Dispatch to a funder is not — there is no submit route, so nothing leaves the building automatically today. Lender matching is further out still: it needs a populated funder-appetite registry, and the network behind that data model does not exist. The CFO agent will not quote terms on behalf of any lender, and this page will not print rates it cannot source.

Availability + pricing

A ready agent. A setup that fits your business.

Talk through your workflow, data requirements, and deployment options.

Agent readiness
CFO is built and ready. Scope the finance work, permissions, and data access for your organization.
Setup + pricing
Setup and hosted deployment are quoted for your engagement. There is no self-serve operator plan or checkout.
What we want from you
Your industry, how you keep your books, and the finance question that costs you the most time. That shapes your configuration.

See how setup, subscriptions, and platform usage are priced on /pricing. A built agent does not automatically enable every connector or billing rail.
